Zachary has been taking gym classes at Fun & Fit for a couple of years now. In fact, the first Fun & Fit class we ever took is where we met the Whitlach's and the Sweat's. Anyway, for whatever reason, the Fun & Fit schedule hasn't worked out for Mackenzie at all. Recently Kenzie has started asking about gym classes. And Zachary LOVES them . . . so we felt it was important to find one for Kenzie to try too. Research around town led us to Golden State Gymnastics.
I love their competitive program! My daughter competes at Level 5 and all of our girls do exceptionally well in competition! We checked out many gyms and this was the best in our area. They also have a fantastic pre-team program. ? Firecrackers? starts at age 4 and ? Hotshots? is the next step before team. Highly recommend it. Amazing coaches!

Golden State Gymnastics is one of the better gymnastics programs I have found in Burbank. My daughter gained more skills here in two months than she had in months of classes at either the Park & Rec program or the YMCA.
The facility is great about allowing you to make up classes at other times if space is available and during the summer offers an unlimited classes program.
However, it is very expensive. Two to three times the cost of the YMCA or the Park & Rec program.
Also, I never received any feedback from my daughter's teacher. At the YMCA or Park & Rec I frequently had comments from the teachers at drop off or pick up times even if it was just "she did a great job today".

My daughter has been attending Golden State for 5 months. Before Golden State we were at a local Gym in the area. The difference between coaching was immense. They believe in progression and positive reinforcement. My daughter grew more in the 5 months at Golden State then the other year we had spent at the other gym. The price is worth every penny!

I am continually impressed with the staff here at Golden State Gymnastics! They truly care about the development of our kids.
I appreciate the way they stay in communication with all the parents. My daughters are very happy with what they have learned and absolutely love their coaches!

We came to Golden State Gymnastics because it is the only gym in Burbank the has a competitive team. Not only was it perfect fit for my daughter, I believe it benefits the entire gym to have gymnasts training at that level.

Golden State Gymnastics has been one of the most positive experiences in both of my daughter's lives. In fact, I would go even further to express the positive experience for our whole family. The recreational coaches that Rachel and Sarah have had, have all been well-qualified and have wonderful skills working with children. The GSG competitive team, which my younger daughter has been involved in for the last five year, has evolved into what I feel is one of the best programs in Southern California. Our coaches are awesome! They are innovative, well-rounded and stay on the cutting edge of all the newest ideas to further the sport of women's gymnastics and specifically to benefit our own girls. Golden State Gymnastics has something to offer every gymnast at every level at a caliber that is second to none. The community of Burbank and surrounding areas are lucky to be able to have such a great service for its residents.

Golden State Gymnastics has been the most wonderful experience for my daughter. While having so much fun, she has learned discipline, time management, self control and her self-esteem is incredibly high. She exudes confidence in and out of the gym and I credit Golden State and her coaches for a big part of that!
